The hardest part of getting a child to eat is making the table somewhere they want to be. The Train Dinner Set solves that before the food arrives.
Five handmade ceramic pieces, all carrying a train theme that children have loved for as long as trains have existed: a dinner plate (10"), a quarter plate (8"), a soup bowl (3.5" high, 4.5" across), a smaller bowl (2" high, 3.5" across) and a glass (2.75" across, 4" high). Everything a child needs for a full meal, all on the same theme, all made from the same handcrafted ceramic that Nira's brings to their adult tableware.
The 24-carat gold accents run through every piece — which means this is a children's dinner set that looks as considered as the rest of the table it sits on. It is made to be used every day and to survive that use, glazed and kiln-fired for durability, and sized correctly for the smaller portions and smaller hands of a child who is still growing into mealtimes.
Each piece is made by hand, so slight variations in glaze and form from set to set are expected — and welcomed. That is what makes each one genuinely handmade rather than mass-produced.
Dishwasher safe. Avoid microwave and oven due to the gold accents.
